Conference Duration

The conference will start in the morning of August 17 and end in the late afternoon of August 21.
The weekend workshop takes place the weekend before, on August 15–16.
Weekend workshop
Before the conference starts on Monday, we offer the opportunity to join the weekend workshop which includes several tutorials on some of the core topics of QPL. This is a good opportunity for junior researchers and first-time QPL attendees to prepare themselves for a week full of research talks and to meet fellow attendees. In order to preserve an informal atmosphere, we will limit the number of people that can attend. We have made a first batch of places available. After that runs out you can contact the organiser to express your interest. We will then see how many more places we will make available.
Poster Session
The poster session takes place in the evening of Tuesday August 18. In case there are many posters to be presented, we might organise a second session.
Conference Dinner and boat tour
The Conference Dinner takes place on Wednesday August 19, at the Tolhuistuin across the river from the central station. The conference dinner is an additional add-on you can select when registering. The price includes the following:
- A boat tour through the canals of Amsterdam and across the river, that will bring us from the conference venue to the restaurant.
- The dinner itself. Instead of a regular conference dinner where you have a fixed seat the entire evening, this will be mostly with standing tables and more smaller courses like tapas. Sitting tables are available for those that prefer that or have mobility issues.
- Tokens for 3 drinks. Any additional ones will have to be paid individually.
